Conference Panel Guidelines

Conference Panel Guidelines

Panel sessions are discussion forums for issues of contemporary interest to IB scholars.
Panels are complete sessions organized as a single submission by the panel chair around a common theme. The panel includes contributions on the panel theme by a group of scholars, yet from different perspectives. Thus, panels may be build using point – counterpoint debates, others may offer different contextually specific perspectives on the same issue, whereas others may explore the same issue from a different methodological or theoretical stance.
We would welcome roundtable panel discussions including scholars, business leaders and policy-makers on key contemporary phenomena and issues that are challenging the strategies and operations of international firms.
Panels with reference to the conference theme are specifically encouraged.
Conference participants are kindly asked to follow the “rule of three”. This means that participants can only be involved in three conference submissions - either as the main author, co-author, panelist or discussant. The rule of three does not apply to pre- and post-conference events. We appreciate your understanding.
All panel proposals should be submitted via the submission system by opting for “Panel proposal submission”. The submission deadline for all panel proposals is 15th July, 2026.
Proposals must conform to the following guidelines:
- The proposed title of the Panel Session
- The organizer(s), contact information and affiliations
- The relevance of the proposed Panel Session to the EIBA 2026 Conference, and the significance of the related contributions (max 1000 words)
- The participants’ contact information, affiliations, and short abstracts (max 200 words per abstract)
- Each panel should include at least four people who have confirmed their participation at the Conference
All proposals should be submitted in Adobe PDF format.
