About EIBA

The European International Business Academy (EIBA) was founded in 1974 under the auspices of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD). EIBA is a professional society for academics and others with an interest in the multidiscpinary and ever-evolving field of International Business (IB) – distinct from many other associations in that its members come from a wide variety of scholarly and functional backgrounds, yet, share the common purpose of using an international context to cross the intellectual boundaries that often divide institutions of higher education.

EIBA aims to serve as a core community and communication network for disseminating information and promoting worldwide exchanges in the field of IB. Membership is open to individuals from Europe and from any other part of  the world. At present, EIBA is comprised of about 700 members from over 50 countries worldwide, representing all continents. EIBA serves as a community network promoting research, researchers-business leaders-policy makers' interaction, global communication, knowledge transfer, life-long learning and exchanges of ideas.
