Aalborg Airport (AAL) has direct connections to a large number of international destinations, including:  

 ✈ Copenhagen 

Copenhagen Airport (CPH) is linked with Aalborg Airport by 14 daily flights. Copenhagen is the main air traffic hub of Northern Europe and served by some 70 international airlines flying non-stop from 120 cities around the world. Flight time CPH-AAL is just 35 minutes. 

 ✈ Amsterdam  

A direct route operated by KLM has daily connections between AAL and Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam, one of the world´s busiest airports with more than 200 destinations worldwide. Flight time between Amsterdam and Aalborg is only 65 minutes. 

 ✈ Oslo 

Gardermoen Airport, situated some 35 km north of Oslo, is an important international traffic hub. It acts as the gateway to the Nordic countries. Flight time to AAL approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.  

AAL is also directly connected to Greenland, The Faroe Islands, Reykjavik, London and many more international destinations.  

It is easy and quick to travel to and from Aalborg Airport, and there are several options for using public transport or a taxi. 

Train

A few hundred meters from the airport’s main entrance, you can board a train with a direct connection to Aalborg Station. In North Jutland, you must pay for a minimum of 2 zones; as a guideline, a 2-zone adult ticket costs DKK 24. 

Bus 

If you arrive at the airport during the day, it is easy to use local buses that run frequently. 

City bus line 13 provides a regular connection between Aalborg Airport and Transport to and from Aalborg Airport . You can also use the express buses 970X and 971X. All buses stop right outside the terminal building, and you can easily find the bus stops by following the signs. See the picture here:

Tickets 

Rember to buy a ticket before boarding the train or bus. You can buy a single ticket in the RejseBillet app, where you can pay in advance by payment card or MobilePay app. At the station, you can buy a ticket from a ticket machine (there are several ticket machines in the airport area) using a payment card. You can buy a ticket from a machine to the right of the entry/exit rotating door near the check-in machines at the airport.

Your ticket is valid in the zones and within the time for which you have purchased it. If you have a valid ticket when boarding the train or bus, you may complete your journey to the final destination, even if the time on the ticket expires during the journey. 

Taxi 

Taxis are typically available just outside the terminal, and several companies provide 24/7 service to and from the airport. Aalborg Taxa, CT Biler, Dantaxi, and Taxi 4x27 all serve the airport.

A taxi from Aalborg Airport to Aalborg city centre typically costs between DKK 160–280, depending on the time of the day and traffic. The journey normally takes 10-15 minutes, and you may want to ask for the price before getting in. 

There is a wide variety of different hotels within short walking distance from the venue, close to the city center.
