It is a condition of acceptance for both the Doctoral Tutorial and the Doctoral Colloquium that the selected participants should register for the EIBA Conference by 15 October, 2026 (the early-bird registration deadline).

JIBS Paper Development Workshop

Participants will be matched with senior scholars for constructive discussions. 

Participants must be registered for the main EIBA 2026 Conference.

IBR Professional Development Workshop

Hosted by the EIBA journal International Business Review (IBR), this workshop offers hands-on academic advice to early-stage researchers and PhD students.

Core Topics:

  • What makes a “good” academic paper?
  • How to avoid common pitfalls in your manuscript
  • Strategies for responding to reviewer feedback
  • Increasing your paper’s visibility & impact

No paper submission is required, but pre-registration is essential.

12th EIBA Early Career Network (ECN) Paper Development Workshop

The workshop provides an opportunity targeted at early-career researchers to benefit from mentoring, presenting their ideas, and engaging in thought-provoking dialogue with experienced scholars.

Highlights include:

  • Research development sessions with senior scholars
  • Group discussions on emerging IB themes
  • Networking opportunities with fellow early-career scholars

Submission requirements

  • A working paper (max. 10,000 words) or an extended abstract (max. 1,500 words).
  • Deadline for submissions: 31 October, 2026.
  • Pre-registration for participation without presentation: 1 November, 2026.

JIBP Professional Development Workshop

This interactive workshop, led by editors of the Journal of International Business Policy (JIBP), explores how IB research can influence global policy. Panel discussions will cover emerging themes, publication advice, and strategies for crafting impactful, policy-relevant work. Open to all scholars - especially to early-career researchers or those from adjacent disciplines (e.g., political science, economic geography, economics).

No paper submission is required.

Registered EIBA 2026 participants only. Pre-registration is required by 1 November, 2026.
